Reservations

All reservations for each program must, whenever possible, be made in writing.
Reservations will only be effective after the payment of 50% of the total fare has been received. The remaining 50% no later than one week before the event. This may be paid cash at our Agency or by bank transfer, or by PayPal.

Complaints and claims

Complaints and claims will only be considered if reported by the claimant to Portodouro in writing within 5 days of the end of the service.

Cancelled, delayed or changed sailing itineraries

Portodouro retains the right to cancel, delay or change the itinerary of any voyage or program for any reason including insufficient bookings, bad weather conditions, mechanical difficulties, local strike or other reasons without penalty to Portodouro.

Train: In the programs that include train, the schedule is subject to changes by the Portuguese Railways. In case of difficulties by the Portuguese Railways arranging trains, the transfers will be made by coach.

Once reserved, the following cancellation charges are applied in case the reservation is cancelled by the client:
- 30 to 15 days prior to departure date: 50% of total reservation.
- 14 to 1 day prior to departure date: 100% of total reservation.
- no show one day of departure 100% of total reservation.

Insurance

Insurance is in full compliance with insurances required by Portuguese law.

Taxes

Prices include VAT (current legal tax rate).
